  • What happens if my municipality requests revisions?
    We'll happily provide one complimentary revision with your purchase. Simply forward the feedback to info@standarplans.ca with the subject line REVISIONS PLEASE.
  • When is best to go "full-custom?"
    We do offer "full-custom" designs, however this is subject to the details of each project. The complexity of a project may require an in-person visits, availability of this service will be handled on a case by case basis. 3-5 Business Day delivery does not apply to Custom Designs, lead times will be determined based on the project details, and the Company's ability to satisfy the order. If you have any questions about these service, send us a message and we will gladly discuss your projects eligibility for this service.
  • When will I receive my plan?
    After we confirm your order, you will receive your personalised plans directly to your email within 3-5 business days of order confirmation.
  • Will your plans meet building regulations throughout Canada?
    Generally speaking, yes. We specialize in plans for Ontario, which typically has the most rigid requirements for building permits. However, we always recommend checking with your local building department, as requirements can very between Municipal and Provincial jurisdictions.
  • Do your plans meet US regulations as well?
    Our plans are specifically designed to meet Canadian (and specifically Ontario) standards. There are many geographical factors that need to be taken into account depending on where you are building. If you're building in the US or abroad, consider an architect that specializes in plans that meet your country's requirements.
